If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing:
Honestly…I’m not sure? I’ve been playing the Violin since I can remember (Age 5!), and in High School decided it would become my whole Future Life, so I always knew I’d be a musician. Were there other things I was interested in doing? Sure!
Hobbies:
Gardening, Tennis, Table Tennis, Pickleball, Golf Huge Baseball Fan (Go Giants!) Taking Care of 5 Furry “Kids” (3 Cats & 2 Bunnies)/Taking Care of the House
Favorite vacation spot:
Anywhere there’s FOREST & BEACHES!!
What three things can always be found in your refrigerator:
Plant-based Milk Fresh Fruit/Veggies Amazing & Delicious VEGAN Food either cooked/prepared by my Wife, or from the Chef she works for @Planted Table, an awesome Vegan Meal Service in Oakland!
If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be:
I would tell my younger self to have a secondary degree or skill to fall back on when “the going gets tough” and you can barely survive on Musicians’ Wages living in the most expensive place to live!
Do you have a “bucket list” piece of orchestral music that you have yet to play:
Not really, and I feel that even if I did have a “bucket list” it would be completed by now, because there’s been so much great music I’ve played over the years (and recently) and feel I’ve “checked” so much off. There’s pieces I’d love to do again!
