What is the SoundCheck Pass?

The next generation of audiences develop their passion for symphonic music through our SoundCheck Pass program.

The SoundCheck Pass is a $25 pass for patrons aged 5–25, which allows them to attend all Saturday night concerts of our 2025/2026 season (pending availability), with the exception of The San Jose Nutcracker and My Very First Nutcracker.

SoundCheck Pass holders are eligible for one companion ticket (no age limit) for $25 per concert.

• Hopelessly Romantic
• The Enigmatic Voice
• Hollywood Spectacular
• Beethoven’s Pastorale
• Symphonic World Cup

Concerts included in your 2026/2027 Soundcheck Pass are (on sale starting August 17):

• The New World
• Symphonic Spooktacular
• Merry Mozart
• Holiday Spectacular
• Pictures at an Exhibition
• Concerto for Orchestra
• The Mighty Organ
• Ode to Joy

Not valid on The San Jose Nutcracker, My Very First Nutcracker, Star Wars, Sleeping Beauty, or My Very First Ballet.

How to Purchase & Use the Pass

The SoundCheck Pass can be purchased in person at 325 S. 1st Street, San Jose, by phone at (408) 286-2600 (option 1), or online via the Symphony San Jose website.

To attend concerts, pass holders simply present their ID and purchase receipt at the California Theatre Ticket Sales Window to redeem tickets for each eligible Saturday performance.
